The Pitt (TV Series 2025–)

I have been loving the Pitt recently! The format of the show is so compelling with the entire season taking place in one day and each episode being an hour of the shift. Also the way that many of the actors are trained in theater really pays off with how the staging and continued acting works. Essentially when the camera is on you are in character which is very much how theater acting works because even if you aren’t the main focus you can still be seen. There’s a lot of background acting that occurs and it really brings a lot of depth and reality to the show that I don’t see very often.

Additionally the characters personalities work so well to create different individual dynamics. No two characters have the same dynamic and it draws you in and forces you to invest in each and every character.
